Perching Birds


Perching birds are the most common type of birds. There are more than 5,700 different species of perching birds. One of the most important physical features of these birds is their grasping feet, which help them hold and perch on tree branches.

Songbird


Songbirds are small, perching birds that sing melodious, musical songs. Common songbirds include warblers, werns, bulbuls, swallows, nightingales, cuckoos, orioles, and finches.

Bulbul


Bulbuls are medium-sized songbirds found in Africa and Asia. Most bulbuls are grey or black, with red, yellow, or orange markings. Some may also have a crest on their head.

Swallow


Swallows are small, swift fliers with long and pointed wings. They spend most of their time fliyng. They are known for their ability to feed themselves while flying. They hunt insects such as flies mosquitoes and gnats.

Finch


Finches are small, speed -eating birds. There are about 153 kinds of finch in the world. Common finches include the canaries, yellow finches, warbling finches, house finches, zebra finches,etc.
